Yanaguana River Tours

Yanaguana is the name of the Indians who were indigenous to San Antonio prior to the Spanish conquest. Yanaguana River Tours offers 45-minute barge tours of the River Walk that depart daily from 9 am to 11 pm. The night tour is a wonderful experience and it is especially colorful when the river walk is decorated with the December Christmas lights in all the trees. Prices: $5.25 for adults 5 - 65 years of age, $1.00 for children under 5 years of age, $3.65 for Senior's 65 and older as well as local residents. San Antonio City Tours

This tour of San Antonio includes a river cruse and a movie at the famous IMAX Theatre of "Alamo: The Price of Freedom." $39.75 for a full trip; $14 for a shorter trip. Half price for children ages 5-10. Also a trolley tour with a hop-on, hop-off option. $8.95 adults, $4.50 children ages 3-11. Horse-drawn carriage rides

Take a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through picturesque downtown San Antonio. You can catch a carriage on the Alamo Plaza, or wave one down on the street. The carriage rides operate daily 6 pm to midnight (weather permitting). Lone Star Carriage, (210) 656-7527, offers three tour routes. Charge per couple is $20 for 20-25 minute tour, $40 for Main Plaza tour, $60 for one-hour King William tour. Yellow Rose Carriage, (210) 225-6490, charges $10 per adult for a 20-minute tour, $20 per adult for a 45-minute tour, $30 per adult for the 90-minute King William Tour. Children under age 12 free with two adults. For an extra charge, Yellow Rose will pick up passengers at their downtown hotel upon prior reservation.

Gray Line Sightseeing Tours

If your hankering to see the famous LBJ Ranch or even visit old Mexico then this is the tour for you. Tickets and pickup available from downtown hotels, or buy tickets 15 minutes before tour departure from the Alamo, 217 Alamo Plaza, Suite B. Gray Line offers two half-day tours. $20 adults, $10 children under age 12. It also offers a full-day tour in San Antonio and full-day tours to either Mexico or the LBJ Ranch. $35 adults, $17.50 children under age 12. Major credit cards. Conventions San Antonio

Lone Star Trolleys

This tour by trolley will take you to the Market Square as well as the Historic King William District. The tours depart every 45 minutes from Alamo Plaza.
