National Endowment for the ArtsThe National Endowment for the Arts, (NEA) is an independent agency of the Federal government charged with supporting the arts in America for all Americans. If you have seen a play, heard a symphony, spent a night at the opera, or been thrilled by a dance performance, chances are you have benefited from the work of the Arts Endowment. If, in the past 30 years, you have read a book of poetry or short stories, watched a great performance or an American drama on public television, visited a museum or visual arts exhibition, chances are you have participated in an event made possible through the direct or indirect support of this Federal agency. Texas Cultural and Arts Network (TCAnet)TCAnet is a comprehensive computer network on the Internet operated by the Texas Commission on the Arts as a means of meeting its mandate of "Developing a Receptive Climate for the Arts in Texas." Mid-America Arts AllianceOrganized in 1972 to “bring arts and audiences together”, Mid-America Arts Alliance is a private not-for-profit arts organization. Western States Arts Federation (WSTAF)WSTAF is dedicated to offering projects and services that will insure continued access to these life-enhancing artistic experiences. It is The largest of 7 Regional Arts Organizations in the United States, Founded in 1974 as a private nonprofit corporation, WSTAF believe in the cultural resources of the American West and has as its purpose the advancement of artists, audiences, and arts organizations of the region. This is accomplished by developing and coordinating unique projects and services across state boundaries and through the creation of partnerships between arts organizations and arts professionals. Participating states include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. |
